Netflix has officially announced that Emily in Paris will come to an end after its upcoming sixth season. The fan-favorite romantic comedy starring Lily Collins has been one of the streamer’s biggest global hits since premiering in 2020, blending fashion, romance, travel, and drama into a binge-worthy phenomenon.

Production on the final season of Emily in Paris is already underway, with filming taking place in Greece, Paris, and Monaco. While Netflix has not revealed an official premiere date, excitement is already building as fans prepare to say goodbye to Emily Cooper and her glamorous European adventures.
Collins shared the news directly with viewers in a heartfelt video announcement, calling the experience of playing Emily “unforgettable.” She also teased that season six will deliver everything fans love about the series while bringing Emily’s story to a satisfying conclusion.
Series creator Darren Star thanked fans for supporting the show over the years and described making the series as “the trip of a lifetime.” Star added that the final season will celebrate the characters and relationships that helped turn the show into a worldwide pop culture sensation.
The upcoming episodes are expected to continue after season five’s cliffhanger ending, which saw Gabriel, played by Lucas Bravo, reconnect with Emily by inviting her on a getaway to Greece. Returning cast members include Ashley Park, Lucien Laviscount, Samuel Arnold, and Bruno Gouery.
Over its six-season run, Emily in Paris became known for inspiring fashion trends, viral memes, and debates about its idealized version of Parisian life. Love it or hate it, the series became one of Netflix’s signature titles — and now Emily’s story is finally heading toward its last chapter.
