I really, really don’t want to like Guy Pearce. There’s something funny about him that I can’t quite put my finger on. Maybe it’s the silly way he spells his name?! Anyway, what I do know is that the bastard keeps making great movies so my disdain is useless. Hard to hate a man that does good work.
And it looks like he’s going to continue to do good work in what should be a really good movie. He just joined the cast of Ridley Scott’s Prometheus. While there were recent flutters of him joining the cast, each and every one failed to mention who he would be playing. But never the worrier are we because he joins an incredible cast that already includes such notable names as Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron and Idris Elba. So Pearce is in good company and I still don’t like him for it.
