Adrien Grenier Wanted “Entourage’ to Go Green

Adrien Grenier wanted his character on TV comedy Entourage to be more environmentally friendly, until he realised it would make the show boring.

Grenier hassled series producers for years about trying to make his movie star character, Vincent Chase, more green-minded but they always ignored him.

And now he is glad that program bosses refused to give in to his demands, as it was for the good of viewers.

Grenier tells the New York Post’s PageSix magazine, “For years, I tried to get producers to have Vinny sell his Hummer (sports utility vehicle) and buy a(enviromentally friendly Toyota) Prius. Then, I realised this show is entertainment. I know that Entourage is often demeaning and crude, but there’s also a lot of social commentary.”
