Janet Jackson Says No to ‘X Factor’ Job

The X Factor‘s search for talent on the judges’ panel continues, after Janet Jackson turned down the opportunity to join the show.

Jackson, whose rep didn’t quite confirm that the singer was formally offered a gig on X Factor, blamed her “thanks but no thanks” on her upcoming summer tour and the resulting schedule conflicts that would arise.

The news comes shortly after Jackson was mentioned as one of the possible replacements for recently departed judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul. We had a few suggestions, too.
