The AMC Indianapolis 17 offers a variety of viewing experiences to guests including 2D, RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, and IMAX. Dolby Cinema combines advanced audio and visual technology with reclining seats to captivate movie audiences!

The AMC Indianapolis 17 serves a variety of food options that can be ordered ahead using the AMC Theatres app. In addition to standard movie theater fare, the AMC Indianapolis 17 features an enhanced menu with loaded hot dogs and stone-fired flatbread pizzas. Guests can choose a drink from the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, or order an alcoholic beverage from MacGuffins Bar.

This theater is fitted with AMC’s signature recliners and has reserved seating so you don’t have to worry about arriving early to get dibs on your favorite spot! One reviewer on Google complimented the AMC Indianapolis 17 saying it is, “One of the best movie theaters on the South side of Indianapolis. The employees here are always nice, the popcorn is fresh, the seat quality is really good.”

Indianapolis Movie Theaters: Living Room Theaters

Located in the Bottleworks District, Living Room Theaters shows the latest blockbusters and independent films. According to their website, Living Room Theaters was “founded by filmmakers who wanted to elevate the cinema experience for moviegoers.”

Living Room Theaters’ auditoriums are fitted with comfortable recliners and rockers, as well as unique lighting designed for each theater! Movies are digitally projected in 2K and 4K resolution with 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound. The auditoriums are on the smaller side, making for an intimate movie-watching experience.

Living Room Theaters has a restaurant and bar on site so guests can enjoy a meal before or after their movie. The menu features a variety of options including salads, pizzas, and sandwiches. The restaurant also serves beer, wine, cocktails, and dessert!

One reviewer on Google wrote that Living Room Theaters had an “Interesting and cool vibe, with great food, friendly greeters, and clean/comfy theater rooms.”

Indianapolis Movie Theaters: Keystone Art Cinema

Located in Indianapolis’ Fashion Mall, Keystone Art Cinema is operated by Landmark Theaters. The theater shows the latest Hollywood releases, independent films, and documentaries in 7 state-of-the-art auditoriums. Keystone Art Cinema’s theaters use both conventional and digital projectors to screen films.

Keystone Art Cinema offers an assortment of gourmet movie snacks. Movie-goers can visit the Indie Lounge, where they can order a locally crafted alcoholic beverage to take back to their seat. The theater has stadium seating with comfortable, cushioned chairs. Seating is unreserved, so be sure to get there early for a good spot!

After visiting Keystone Art Cinema one reviewer on Google wrote, “This is a cool spot. It is the place that’ll show the neat niche movies that big theaters don’t run. Smooth, easy to find and clean.”

Another reviewer said that the great sound quality helped them feel immersed into the film.

Indianapolis Movie Theaters: IMAX Theater Indiana State Museum

The IMAX Theater located in the Indiana State Museum shows both educational films and Hollywood blockbusters. IMAX is an immersive technology that has precise audio and high-quality imaging, giving guests a superior movie-going experience. Guests also have the option to see select films in 2D or 3D.

The IMAX Theater Indiana State Museum serves traditional movie concessions, as well as locally sourced hot options like freshly baked pizza and soft pretzels. Local beers and wines are also available to purchase for guests looking to enjoy a drink with their movie!

Indianapolis Movie Theaters: Tibbs Drive-In

Tibbs Drive-In is a family-owned and operated theater that shows the latest releases Thursday-Sunday. The drive-in first opened in 1967, making this year its 54th year in operation! According to its website, Tibbs Drive-In is the last remaining drive-in in Indianapolis proper.

Tibbs Drive-In has 4 screens and can hold almost 1600 cars. Guests looking to see a movie here can purchase tickets online or at the box office when they arrive. Both the Tibbs Drive-In box office and on-site concession stand accept credit card payment. Tickets are sold per person and for a particular screen, giving guests the option to watch all of the movies showing on that screen or just 1.

Tibbs Drive-In sells typical movie theater fare such as popcorn, candy, and soft drinks, but also has specialty items like pizza, burgers, and ice cream. The drive-in plays movies rain or shine and guests can tune into their screen’s audio using their car’s FM radio.

Indianapolis Movie Theaters: Flix Brewhouse

Flix Brewhouse is located just under 20 miles from Indianapolis in the city of Carmel. The theater offers dinner and a movie to its guests, with food delivered straight to movie-goers’ seats! Menu options include fish and chips, burgers, loaded fries, and wraps.

What makes Flix Brewhouse unique is its award-winning beers. The theater chain brews 12 of its own beers, and its pub is open to the public, no movie ticket needed! Flix Brewhouse also serves a selection of wines and specialty non-alcoholic beverages.

Flix Brewhouse has comfortable seating with slide-out tables, making it easy to enjoy your meal. One reviewer on Google wrote, “This is my favorite place to go out to! Love their food, beer, and movies. Best Mac and cheese I have ever tasted!”

Flix Brewhouse is temporarily closed at the moment, but the theater chain’s CEO said he’s confident it will reopen in the near future.

Indianapolis Movie Theaters: Regal UA Circle Centre

Regal UA Circle Centre is located in Indianapolis’ Circle Centre shopping mall. The theater has comfortable leather reclining seats that make the movie-going experience even more relaxing! The seats also have tray attachments so you can enjoy your movie theater snack much easier.

The Regal UA Circle Centre offers traditional movie concessions such as popcorn, candy, nachos, and hot dogs. Reviewers commended the theater’s cleanliness and friendly service. One reviewer on Google said the Regal UA Circle Centre is a “Great theater with awesome seating and sound” while another reviewer wrote, “Nice location. Theatres are clean and staff is friendly.”

Indianapolis Movie Theaters: Cinemark Greenwood Corner 

The Cinemark Greenwood Corner is located in Indianapolis’ Greenwood Corner shopping center. This theater shows the latest releases as well as foreign films with English subtitles. Cinemark Greenwood Corner is fitted with Cinemark’s “Luxury Loungers,” which are plush seats that recline electrically and even have heating and cooling abilities!

The Cinemark Greenwood Corner has a ticketing kiosk for guests who want to purchase their tickets at the theater, but don’t want to wait in the box office line. This theater offers typical movie theater snacks that guests can either purchase at the concession stand or mobile order on their phones. Guests who choose to mobile order can pick up their food at their counter or opt to have it delivered right to their theater seat!

The Cinemark Greenwood Corner also has a bar area for movie-goers who want to enjoy an alcoholic beverage with their film. There is even an arcade in the lobby where kids (or adults) can play games before or after their movie. One reviewer on Google shared, “Super place and so clean and comfy! A+ I will never go anywhere but here!!!! You won’t be disappointed.”

Indianapolis Movie Theaters: GQT Brownsburg 8 GDX

Located less than 20 miles outside of Indianapolis, the GQT Brownsburg 8 GDX offers an enhanced viewing experience to its guests. GDX, which is GQT’s “Giant Digital Experience”, provides crystal clear imaging and immersive Dolby Atmos sound!

The GQT Brownsburg 8 GDX has stadium seating with high back plush seats. The ticket prices here are reasonable and cheaper than many other theaters, with adult evening tickets costing $8.50. Guests can purchase their movie tickets at the theater’s self-serve ticketing kiosk. There are also arcade games in the lobby that moviegoers can play before or after their showing!

Reviewers were complimentary of the GQT Brownsburg 8 GDX’s staff and the cleanliness of the theater. One reviewer on Google wrote, “Excellent friendly staff, clean theater, good audio and video!”

Indianapolis Movie Theaters: Studio Movie Grill College Park 

Studio Movie Grill College Park is the perfect place for dinner and a movie. Guests can order food from the self-serve kiosk, the Studio Movie Grill App, or by pressing the service button at their seat to have their food delivered directly to them in the theater! Food options include appetizers, salads, burgers, pizzas, and alcoholic beverages.

There are also multiple options for guests to enjoy their meals, including table seating, counter seating, and trays attached to the chairs. Movie-goers can purchase tickets online, through the Studio Movie Grill app, or at the theater’s ticket kiosk.
