The Jonas Brothers just might be the hardest working boys in the biz. When they’re not filming a Disney movie, recording an album, working on a new reality show or touring the country you can find Nick, Kevin and Joe rubbing elbows with President Bush at the White House or performing their hit songs on Dancing with the Stars.
Hollywood.com was lucky enough to catch up with the band of brothers to find out the very latest on all their endeavors.

On what it was like performing on DWTS
Nick: We noticed there were a lot of our fans in the audience tonight, which was cool. They came out and supported us when we were on Dancing with the Stars. It’s funny – they said it was one of the loudest audiences they ever had!
Joe: They actually asked the audience to calm down and be quiet a little bit, which they said they’ve never had to do before! So that was great.
On whether they would ever compete on the show
Joe: I think it would be fun. I’d do it.
Kevin: Joe actually had to dance a lot, much more than me and Nick, in the movie Camp Rock, so that was really, another evolution of who we are as the Jonas Brothers and things like that. It was very cool… maybe Dancing with the Stars is in our future.

On their new summer Disney movie Camp Rock
Joe: I don’t know if I’m much like my character, because my character is kind of a jerk in the movie, but in the end, he kind of comes around. I think we can relate because they’re a band and we’re a band and they travel and so do we. And Kevin‘s character, he’s like the funny quirky guy and Nick is more like the group leader. So our characters are definitely mixed. [PAGEBREAK]

On their new reality show Livin’ the Dream
Kevin: I think it’s a really great way for our fans to see what it takes for us to get to a concert, what fun things we try to do before a concert, and, of course, getting to see the reaction of all the fans at the show. So, even if you can’t make it to the concerts, you’ll be able to be part of the Jonas Brothers on the tour and be a part of our life while we’re on the road.
Nick: It will take a look into our real lives and people will see that we’re regular kids who take out the trash.
On coming up with the name of the show
Kevin: We called it Livin’ the Dream because that’s one of our slogans. Before we go on stage, we all get together and say, “Livin’ the dream, baby! Livin’ the dream!” – our entire crew and band and everyone together because it really is. Every minute we wake ourselves up and get pinched. So that’s why being followed around by the cameras is so exciting for us – because we live such an amazing life that so many people dream about living.
On whether little brother Frankie will be on the reality show
Joe: Frankie tours with us a lot when we’re on the road.
Nick: He’ll actually be featured in the reality show a lot because it’s the whole family. It’s the three of us plus our mom and dad and our little brother Frankie. So we call him the Bonus Jonas or Frank the Tank and he’s awesome. I think one day he might join the band, but he’s got his own band that he’s excited about. [PAGEBREAK]

On their favorite songs off the new album
Joe: On the new album that we just worked on that I think is scheduled to come out around August, for me there’s a song called “Pushing You Away” that we did on tour and introduced to the audience.
Kevin: For me, it’s a song called “Burnin’ Up.” We played that on our tour just recently. It was phenomenal and we had a blast with that. I think it’s a new step to who we are and I think our fans are really catching on to it and enjoying it.
Nick: It’s just another step that we took. I think it’s really cool music and more mature.[PAGEBREAK]

On balancing their upcoming tour with other projects
Kevin: We just can’t wait for what the future holds for this year. We have Camp Rock coming out, we have tickets for our “Burnin’ Up” tour going on sale this Saturday, so our summer’s all lined up and we’re really excited about that. And of course, production for our TV show later in the year as well. So we have a lot going on but we just are very honored to be given the opportunities that are.
Joe: We’re going to bring Demi Lovato on tour with us. She’s our costar in the movie Camp Rock. And we’ve been writing with her a lot for her record. It’s going to be very exciting. [PAGEBREAK]

On performing at the White House last weekend
Joe: We just performed at the White House for Easter and it was incredible. It was unbelievable. It was our third time being in the White House in the past year. The first time we were ever there we met the President, and then we met the First Lady and this time we met them both together. The President said he liked my shoes. That was pretty cool. And when we were leaving he said to us, because one of our songs is called ‘That’s Just the Way We Roll,’ he leaned over to us, and I guess it’s one of his favorite songs, and we were at the Easter egg roll, and he said [Joe does a Bush impression] “That’s just the way we roll, all right!”
Kevin: It was amazing and such an honor to be there, to play for the second year in a row on the White House lawn, and of course to be able to spend the time, and this year we actually got to sing the national anthem. It was a huge honor for us to be able to do that in the presence of the President and the First Lady at the White House. [PAGEBREAK]

On what they do for fun
Nick: We’re really big golfers. We all learned to play golf and that’s how we clear our heads whenever we can find a course to play on. We do get some vacation time and that’s nice.
On whether they get homesick
Joe: Not really, but we just got to sleep in our own beds for once. It was very nice – I didn’t want to get up!
Kevin: But the tour bus is really like our home.
Joe: But we like home cooked meals too. [PAGEBREAK]

On who’s the most responsible in the group
Kevin: I try to keep everyone on time a little bit. I tend to be early. Joe is typically the last one out the door. But it’s OK. We have people that make sure we’re out the door on time. Responsibilities, I don’t know, I think Nick is the most responsible one out of all of us. He’s the boss and we’re saying Nick’s going to run for president one day, Nick J in ’38!
On the motto they live by
Kevin: Yeah, our parents have pretty much seared this into our hearts from an early age, they raised us to say ‘even if you’re at the top, act like you’re at the bottom.’ So for us, beyond ‘living the dream’ that’s what we’ve always lived by.
