A Family Affair: Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron Play Lovers

Last month, Netflix unveiled the trailer to its latest romantic comedy, ‘A Family Affair,’ featuring a star-studded cast including Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, Joey King, Liza Koshy, and Kathy Bates.

Produced by the team behind ‘Anyone but You,’ the film tells the story of Zara Ford (played by King), a young woman who uncovers her single mother Brooke’s (Kidman) affair with her egotistical movie star boss, Chris Cole (Efron). This marks the third collaboration between Efron and Kidman, following ‘The Paperboy’ in 2012 and the upcoming release of ‘The Butler’ next year.

‘A Family Affair’ Trailer: What We Know

The trailer shows a surprising romance turning into a nightmare. Zac Efron plays Chris Cole, a movie star who starts dating Nicole Kidman’s character, Brooke. But Brooke is also the mother of Zara (played by Joey King), who used to work for Chris and now dislikes him.
