Elaine finds new TV pals

Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Elaine from the TV series Seinfeld, has found new people to play her dysfunctional friends on her new, as-yet untitled NBC sitcom. Steve Carrell (Comedy Central’s The Daily Show), Peter Stormare (Chocolat), Don Lake (Waiting for Guffman) and Darren Boyd are scheduled to be regular players for the comedy, Variety reports. Louis-Dreyfus‘ hubby Brad Hall is the creator and executive producer, and sis Susan Bowles may end up as a recurring guest star. Production is set to begin in mid-July. Louis-Dreyfus will play a nightclub singer/voiceover artist living in Los Angeles.
