Lifetime has greenlit a series (that is naturally based on one of its own movies of the week), and Jennifer Love Hewitt has landed the lead role … again.
The Client List aired as an MOW in 2010, and the 10-episode first season on which it is based will follow the same storyline — about a Texas housewife forced to resort to less-than-savory activities to make money after her husband leaves — and feature the same lead actress: Hewitt.
The former Ghost Whisperer star earned a Golden Globe nomination for her original Client List performance; the “reimagining” will premiere in 2012.
