CENTURY CITY, Calif., Sept. 12, 2000 — Before the red carpet is rolled out for the very first Latin Grammy Awards, a host of celebrities gathered Tuesday night for a pre-show gala celebrating Latin style and sponsored by Evolution.tv.
Hosted by Daisy Fuentes, Latin Grammy nominees and fans mixed it up in Century City, Calif., as Cuban star Albita performed and designers Eduardo Lucero and Henry Duarte displayed their spring collections.
Attending the party were Eriq La Salle, Kelly Hu, Jon Secada, Carlos Ponce, cast members of “Resurrection Blvd.” and many more.

The Latin Grammys are set to air live Sept. 13 at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
