So Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne aren’t journalists, but does it count that they’ve headlined the news a lot lately?
The 88th annual White House Correspondents Association dinner was held Saturday for journalists to mingle with President Bush and top members of his administration, and the Osbournes–who came as guests of Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren–were at the center of it all.
President Bush even directed a joke at the rocker, The Associated Press reports.
“The thing about Ozzy is, he’s made a lot of big hit recordings–“Party With the Animals,” “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath,” “Face in Hell,” “Black Skies” and “Bloodbath in Paradise,'” said the president.
“Ozzy. Your mom loves your stuff.”
Comedian Drew Carey was also at the event, providing stand-up comedy for the president, the Osbournes and over 1,800 guests.
