If there’s anything a Kardashian (or Kardashian-in-law) knows how to do, it’s make money from a reality TV show, even when you’re suffering through the worst of times.
Lamar Odom is the latest in Kardishi-land to sign on for a reality series. This time, rather than documenting his marriage to Khloe Kardashian, it’ll show his road to recovery.
On Monday, the NBA star checked into a San Diego rehab facility over a year after overdosing at a brother in Nevada. Allegedly, the star had not relapsed but checked in as a precaution because he was afraid the stress of the holidays and his looming divorce might push him over the edge.
According to a source that spoke to People, the show won’t be centered around the Kardashian family at all (he did separate from Khloe, after all). It will focus entirely on him.
“The show will be about his life, recovery — all about him.” said the source.
We’re sure Khloe will make an appearance, as she’s been supportive of Odom’s recovery and the two are still finalizing their divorce.
Odom’s show hasn’t started filming, but is set to air sometime in 2017.
