The Vampire Diaries has always been dark, brooding and sexy, but this new promo makes it look like this season the series is really upping the ante. Incorporating those bloody fruits from that first set of Season Three posters, we find Elena (Nina Dobrev), Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) partaking in a picnic that only Tim Burton could love, but when Klaus shows up, things get even…darker.
