S3:E11 “Thanks for meeting me. I know it’s early.” – Kevin
Kevin called Eddie at 6 in the morning and told him to meet him at the neighborhood batting cages. While he was whacking at the balls the machine was pitching to him, Kevin asked Eddie if he saw his wife every day at work. Eddie said he did see Jackie every day at work, and then Kevin revealed that lately, he couldn’t look at Jackie because there was “all this unspoken shit” between them. Kevin said that sometimes he just wants to tell Jackie everything he’s feeling, but something always prevents him from doing so. Eddie was clutching the metal cage nervously, just waiting for Kevin to ask him if he’d ever had sex with Jackie. And while Eddie thought that was what Kevin was getting at, it really wasn’t.
“It’s national nurse’s appreciation week!” – Zoey
Zoey announced to everyone that it was nurse’s appreciation week, and that she had planned a party in the basement for all the nurses to come together and appreciate themselves. As Zoey was trying to convince everyone that if they didn’t celebrate their own week than no one else will, Eddie pulled Jackie aside and told her how Kevin insinuated that he knew Jackie had an affair with him that morning. Jackie reassured him that Kevin didn’t know anything, that marriage was hard, and to just believe her and go about his day.
“I will pay for rehab…which I think is a joke.” – O’Hara
At the end of the day, Jackie went into O’Hara’s office where she was presented with more Xanax for Grace. Jackie thanked O’Hara but O’Hara said she wanted to help her in a different way than just feeding her addiction. O’Hara offered to pay for rehab, take her to meetings, send her away to a specialized detox facility, but she ultimately knew that none of those would work so instead she said she’d write prescriptions for Jackie that she best thought would help her get over her addictions.
