Having failed to find a buyer for his money-hemorrhaging Artists Television Group, Michael Ovitz is selling off the company piecemeal, the Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday, citing Hollywood lawyers, agents and executives doing business with the company. Under proposed deals, ATG would reportedly move the production of the four shows it has sold to the networks for the fall season to other studios in exchange for an ownership percentage. The Times noted that it was unclear what would happen to some ATG writer-producers whose shows have failed.
