Under the recommendation of her father, Amy Winehouse has returned to rehab to seek help in treating her addiction to alcohol. Her representative confirmed to People, and said she “has embarked on a treatment program at the Priory Clinic. She wants to be ready for her performances in Europe this summer and decided to seek an assessment. She will remain at the Priory on doctors’ advice.” A source told the magazine that Amy’s father sat her down, told her he thought she was drinking too much again, and Amy agreed that it would be best if she went back into treatment. But before she went away again, a friend of hers said she consumed a miniature bottle of Smirnoff vodka “in true Amy style.” And you know what? Whatever, Amy friend. Those mini bottles are smaller than a hat on a garden gnome, and if she swigged one last one before going away, fine. It’s not like she shoved it into an implant scar to sip it along the journey.
