The Backstreet Boys will star in their first network TV special, Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life, at 8 p.m. May 30 on CBS, the network has announced. The concert special will feature the boy band performing at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, as well as exclusive footage for their Around The World in 100 Hours promotional tour, which took them to Stockholm, Tokyo, Sydney, Cape Town, Rio de Janeiro, and New York. In related news, Launch.com reports that the Backstreet Boys will release a VHS/DVD video titled Around The World on June 5, a 90-minute documentary-style film on the group’s Black & Blue promotional tour. The group kicks off their North American tour June 8 at the TD Warehouse Centre in Orlando, Fla.
