Boy George has signed on to help mentor the wannabes on the current season of U.S. talent show American Idol. The Culture Club frontman will join judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr. and full-time mentor Scott Borchetta to help coach the remaining 11 contestants on Wednesday’s (25Mar15) programme.
The TV appearance comes as Boy George’s reunited Culture Club announce a summer (15) U.S. tour, which will begin in Denver, Colorado on 20 July (15).
The group was forced to cancel U.K. and U.S. tour dates last year (Nov14) when the singer was diagnosed with polyps on his vocal cords.
