Arnold suing over slots

Arnold Schwarzenegger has filed a lawsuit against Reno-based International Game Technology for using his features and voice on “Terminator” slot machines without his authorization.

As reported in today’s Los Angeles Times, the lawsuit says that Schwarzenegger is “particularly circumspect to avoid using his name, likeness or image for certain industries such as gambling.” IGT said it had been licensed by Vivendi-owned Canal Plus and Creative Licensing Corp. of Los Angeles.

A spokesman told the Times: “Since we are very protective of our own property rights, we are extremely cautious of the property rights of others.”
