Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull DVD
(Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008)
The “outer dimension” plot line was somewhat polarizing, but its near-billion-dollar grossing kind of proves that you loved Indy 4 (everyone hearts Shia LaBeouf, huh?). The DVD, out today, will come with various doodads — depending where you buy Harrison Ford in hi-def: At Best Buy, you get a sculpture replica of the alien “Crystal Skull;” Circuit City offers two lithographs of concept art from the film; Target’s got an 80-page hardcover book with behind-the-scenes, never-been-published photographs, and Kmart and Sears boast four Lego mini-posters — replicas of the original posters of each of the four Indy flicks. As for Cate Blanchett’s Dr. Irina Spalko, there’s plenty of her in the 122-minute run time alone.
