“Shrek” returns to top of U.K. box office

DreamWorks’ Shrek regained the top spot at the British box office last weekend after being beaten out the previous week by Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Shrek has now earned $20.3 million in the U.K. since its opening three weeks ago. In Australia, the film, after earning a total of $12.3 million, has also overtaken Moulin Rouge as the top grosser of the year in that country.
