After escaping form the mental asylum, Charles Dreyfus builds a doomsday machine and threatens to wipe out whole countries if someone doesn’t step up to kill Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau. In this clip, Clouseau “drops in” unexpectedly on his neighbors.

Revenge of the Pink Panther (1978)
The bumbling but imperturbable Inspector Jacques Clouseau allows a gang of drug racketeers to believe that he has been assassinated and dons a series of disguises as he travels all over the world in order to apprehend the bad guys. In this clip, Clouseau manages to botch a honorary ceremony–with the help of a pigeon that lands on his head.

Trail of the Pink Panther (1982)
The legendary Pink Panther diamond is stolen once again, and Inspector Jacques Clouseau is enlisted to find the stolen bauble. But when he follows the trail of the diamond to another country, he leaves on an airplane that is soon reported missing–to his nemesis Dreyfus’s delight. Here, the Inspector arrives home to encounter a most disapproving neighbor.

The Pink Phink
Created by Fritz Freleng and David DePatie, the slick and sly Pink Panther character made his debut in April of 1964 in the opening credits of the big-screen comedy The Pink Panther, starring Peter Sellars. The animated short you can watch here won an Oscar.
