Emily Blunt And Rachel Weisz Are Sisters (In A Movie): Daily Dose Of Jealousy

Emily BluntGood casting directors are able to pick the perfect actor for any specific role. They are able to wade through oceans of headshots and resumes to discover the one person who particularly embodies a character so well. Great casting directors are able to do this but with the added bonus of doing it with famous actors. The perfect casting director pairs beautiful women together. Whoever cast the new Lynn Shelton movie with Emily Blunt and Rachel Weisz as sisters is…perfect.

On one hand this largely improvised movie from the director of Humpday will feature two of the most beautiful and talented actresses working today. On the other hand they will be playing siblings. So they probably won’t be making out in this film, but at least they’ll be on screen together. I’m not complaining. Well, a little grumbling, but only because I have very specific The Mummy and The Devil Wears Prada crossover fantasies. When you’re a high class and well traveled man like myself only the wildest fantasies will do.

Anyway, not much else is known about the movie. It will be largely improvised and shot fairly quickly, which allows Blunt and Weisz time to fit even more films into their schedules.

So let me get this straight. It’s largely improvised, which means that there isn’t really a shooting script. Are we sure this is a real movie and not just some powerful producers fantasy to have these two women together on screen? Either way, Lynn Shelton, I salute you for bringing these two lovely ladies together, you lucky bastard.
