SlashFilm obtained this photo of the dashing George Clooney on the set of his political satire, The Ides of March. He’s directing the flick and he plays a supporting role as a top presidential candidate alongside his advisor, played by Ryan Gosling. Apparently the political pressure gets to Gosling’s character, who finds himself spiraling into deep, dark political bullshit, but in this photo we see Clooney standing in from of his character’s campaign poster which kind of resembles this Obama one. It seems a little hamfisted to copy that poster, but knowing Clooney, I’m sure it makes sense in context.
