Can’t get enough of The Hunger Games? Neither can we.
To curb our appetite for the world premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire trailer at the MTV Movie Awards, the network has released an itty-bitty teaser trailer. Although the clip is devastatingly short, it’s still highlights a powerful insight to a pivotal scene.
The trailer shows six seconds of on what looks like of District 11 — aka the agriculture district and Rue’s former home — and a man announcing to the eager crowd, “The victors of the 74th Hunger Games, Katnis Everdeen and Peeta Mellark.” The scene suddenly swirls and we see the backs of our victorious two-some, as well as a protective Effie Trinket, ready to address the district.

For those of you who have not read The Hunger Games trilogy, here are two things you should know: First, you should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves. Second, Peeta and Katniss spend the beginning of Catching Fire on a “Victory Tour” in which they visit each of their 12 districts in Panem and basically instructed to grace the citizens with their presence. However, their trip to District 11 is particularly important as is the catalyst that ignites our victor’s mission for the rest of the action-packed plot.
Take a look at the sneak peek clip below to see a glimpse of District 11 and a sweet, yet hesitant smile from Katniss.
To catch the world premiere of The Hunger Game: Catching Fire trailer, tune into the MTV Movie awards, hosted by Rebel Wilson, Sunday April 14 at 9 PM.
