Danny Boyle has found a movie to shoot before he helms some quaint side-project thing called the London Olympics in 2012, and James McAvoy may be his lead actor.
McAvoy, star of this summer’s X-Men: First Class, is in talks to play Simon, the leader of a gang of thieves who suffers amnesia following an art heist gone awry.
If he were to accept the role, it’d come after his X-Men costar Michael Fassbender — who is set to be almost everyone’s costar over the next couple years — turned the role down.

Trance would mark Boyle’s first directorial outing since last year’s Best Picture-nominated 127 Hours.
