Back story: Ledger and Graham met last summer at a party in Prague where he was shooting A Knight’s Tale and she was on location for From Hell. Perhaps it was the romantic, fairy tale city’s effect on them, perhaps it was a rebound thing…Ledger had just split from his live-in girlfriend and Graham’s two-year relationship with actor Edward Burns had recently ended. Soon the December-May couple was, Us Weekly reported, throwing a New Year’s bash at his Los Feliz, Calif., home and traveling to his parents’ place in Australia. Rumor had it they were even engaged last year. In January Ledger told the Toronto Sun that being two professional actors in a relationship “doesn’t complicate anything personal, doesn’t change the way we feel about each other.”
But… An official statement was issued in June declaring that the two “have broken up, but are still good friends.”
