Exclusive Sheryl Crow photos!

Sheryl Crow spreads her wings, as we take a sneak peak of her racy photo shoot and interview for the March issue of Stuff magazine, which hits newsstands on Wednesday, Feb. 13. Sheryl–who turns 40(!) on Monday, Feb. 11–reveals what she feels for the pop icons of today (Britney Spears) and yesterday (Michael Jackson). Or do we have that backwards? Crow on Michael Jackson:

“After a while (singing backup), I actually did get to be around Mike and Bubbles a little. To be honest, he scared the hell out of me.” (Actually, Sheryl was referring to Bubbles. But we’re scared of Mike.)

Crow on naming Michael the Artist of the Century at the AMAs:

“First of all, can we just assume that all awards shows are ridiculous? Artist of the century? What the heck does that mean? Who did he beat out? Lenny Bruce? Picasso? John Lennon? How about Gandhi? What a ridiculous idea.”

Crow on Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera:

“Those poor girls. They’re being marketed like porn stars. I don’t mean to sound like a fuddy-duddy, but the images are pretty sleazy. It’s hard for some of these young girls. Where do you go after you’ve been 19 and you’ve stuck your crotch on a camera lens in front of 20,000 people?

More Crow on awards shows:

“With all the lip-synching on those things, Milli Vanilli should receive some kind of lifetime-achievement award….I also have a hard time addressing adults as P. Diddy or Puffy with a straight face.”
