The Skinny: A moment of passion with Madison, the alluring new girl in town, gets Ben, a high school senior with a swimming scholarship to Stanford in the works, into hot chlorinated water. Madison develops an obsession with Ben and his life begins to unravel. Convinced that she will do anything to ruin his life as well as the lives of those around him, Ben decides to set the record straight.
The Bottom Line: Swimfan‘s trailer leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination. Why invest a couple of hours when you get the gist–and the outcome of the film–in a two-minute trailer?
