All the funny people live in New York. And only New York takes its comedy — as in stand-up comedy — so seriously. But finally, non-New Yorkers in possession of a funny bone (folks in Iowa, we’re even talking to you) now have the opportunity to experience Manhattan humor in theaters — and in stand-up form. Stand-Up 360 is a summer-long series of seven original feature-length comedy films that open in a copious number of theaters all across the nation beginning today. Each film will put the spotlight on a different set of very talented, very hilarious comedians, and all are hosted by the endearing Caroline Rhea (best known as Aunt Hilda in Sabrina, the Teenage Witch). Let us just say: We’re particularly excited for Stand-Up 360: Inside Out featuring Hedda Lettuce of Project Runway fame. And we’ll say another thing: It’s incredibly recession-friendly; it ain’t cheap to see a great LOL act in NYC, but this? Just the price of a movie ticket. Peep the trailer here.
