Robert Rodriguez produces the latest chapter of long-running Predator franchise, the first to take place on a planet other than Earth. The plot centers on a group of astronauts who become stranded on a distant world which, frankly, looks a lot like ours, only it’s teeming with hordes of vicious, hungry Predators.
What We Think: Director Antal’s last effort, Armored, was unimpressive, and the tagline “Produced by Robert Rodriguez” might have meant something a decade ago, but these days it carries weight only with the most hardcore of fanboys. That said, we can’t wait to watch Topher’s face get ripped off
Cool to Know: Rodriguez has promised we’ll see “nastier, meaner” version of the Predator creature in this film. Because the original was just too cute and cuddly.
