Take Risks … Big Risks
It’s difficult to predict what Blanchett will wear on any particular occassion because she’s always taking risks and trying out new styles. It’s so easy to get comfortable with a particular look, but Blanchett seems willing to try it all. Seriously! Nobody ever wears yellow, right? But with the right hairstyle, and a few sweet accessories (note the purple satin belt working wonders on her Oscar dress) yellow can totally be your friend.
Blend Those Lip Colors!
Blanchett’s make-up artist for the 2014 Golden Globes recently spoke about the look she gave her that night. Instead of going for the traditional red lip (which, admittedly, would have looked awesome against that black Armani gown), she blended Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstasy Lipstick in Scarlatto and Boudoir. The first layer was a raspberry rose color, the second nude rose, and voila! Blending complimentary lip colors (and no, they don’t have to be Armani) can create an exciting fashion moment for anyone.
