Wanna Look Like Agyness Deyn?

Former It girl and queen of London chic, Agyness Deyn is returning to the fashion world. Only this time she won’t be working the runway, she’ll be creating it. After shying away from modeling to pursue her acting career, Aggy is back – bringing her androgynous style to her new clothing line dubbed, Title A.

Infusing her east ender sensibility with traditional English suiting, the new ready-to-wear line features a smattering of luxe, well-cut basics with classic dress shirts, velvet blouses and dresses, structured blazers and maxi skirts and boyish, oversized coats. The line opts for modern neutrals with a few bursts of crimson and royal navy. While most of the line retains Deyn’s boyish charm with boxy shapes and strong silhouettes, there is a hint of femininity – with rich, brocade fabrics and hidden slits for a seductive touch for evening.

Deyn was the toast of the fashion world at the age of 24, but with her pixie cut and English rose complexion, one could never really guess her age. Now that’s she’s turning 30, her style has evolved and Title A reflects that. It’s minimalist and slightly more grown up than the edgy uniform we’re used to seeing her in.

After having collaborated with esteemed punk outfitters, Dr. Martens, for over four seasons, Deyn is no stranger to designing with accessibility in mind. Due in March, Title A will range from $100 for a cropped tee to $625 for a wool topcoat and will be available for retail at TitleA.com.

While many celebrities only dabble in design for one splashy launch, Deyn plans to make Title A into a full-scale line, following the fashion cycle of four collections a year and plans to grow the wholesale business in the future. With an enviable personal style we’re all still emulating six years later, Deyn is primed to become the next Kate Moss in model-turned-designers.
