Life couldn’t sweeter for Alicia Keys these days with a hit song “Another Way to Die” with Jack White, her movie Secret Life of Bees opening Friday and now a lead in American Music Award nominations.
The diva received five nods, including Favorite Female Artist in both the Pop/Rock and Soul/R&B categories and Artist of the Year, while Coldplay, Eagles, Chris Brown and Lil’ Wayne also garnered multiple nominations.
Jimmy Kimmel is set to host the 36th Annual AMAs this year with Rihanna, Ne-Yo, Taylor Swift, the Pussycat Dolls, the Jonas Brothers, Pink and New Kids on the Block on the roster to perform at the ceremony Nov. 23, 2008.
