IKEA have taken sides in the Kimye-Taylor Swift feud. Seriously, did they just throw some shade at Kanye West? Praise whoever runs their social media account.
In a BBC Radio 1 interview, Kanye West talked about how he wanted to partner with IKEA to break into the world of interior design. To be fair, it’d probably be a good business call on IKEA’s part considering how successful his partnership with Adidas was. People were selling Yeezys for $25K on eBay. Imagine buying a $25K IKEA couch for your college dorm.
Of course, it’s a bit presumptuous of ‘Ye to assume IKEA would want to work with him and talk about it before he even approached the Swedish chain. Then again, that’s just Yeezy being Yeezy.
After hearing the BBC interview, IKEA Australia took to Facebook to respond to Kanye’s request. We’re guessing Kanye isn’t too happy about their response, but on the plus side, it looks like they’re interested!

The Swedish furniture chain referenced ‘Ye’s drama with Taylor Swift and wrote, “Hej Kanye, we’d love to see what you’d create…we could make you Famous!”
Looks like we know whose side they’re on!
