Taylor Swift is inching gradually into the world of movies, both on screen and off. This coming March will see her lend her voice to two big films: The Lorax, voicing one of main characters, and The Hunger Games, with her new song “Safe & Sound,” featuring the Civil Wars. Swift announced her contribution, to The Hunger Games soundtrack via Twitter last night, which should be exciting news for fans of both Swift and the Suzanne Collins book series. Considering the nature of the story—which has a whole lot of battles-to-the-death going on—Swift’s mellow and sweet song might be a good way to soften the delivery of the movie, which features Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
