The 2016 presidential race has us consistently shaking our heads in disbelief. It’s like every other day one of the candidates says something so cringe-worthy, we can’t do anything but shrug. Let’s be honest: politicians aren’t exactly known for being truthful, and as much as Donald Trump wants to drag Hillary Clinton for her leaked email scandal, he hasn’t been totally honest with us either.
Sure, Donald Trump is known for telling it like it is — the sign of a great politician (writing the words Donald Trump and “great politician” so close together literally just made us dry-heave). Unfortunately, whatever “it is” seems to flip flop back and forth on a whim. Donald Trump has disagreed with nearly every position currently held by Donald Trump. Every. Single. Major. Platform.
Thanks to Youtube user PlainSight, who uploaded a video called “Trump Exposes Trump,” we get to watch a beautiful montage of Donald Trump contradicting literally every political stance he holds. It’s set to really nice music, too. The whole effect is just great.
If this video proves anything, it’s that Donald Trump is truly the candidate for everyone. ‘Why?’ You ask. Well, he is simultaneously pro-life and pro-choice. He is simultaneously a republican and democrat. Donald Trump even manages to agree every country and no country should have nuclear weapons. It’s magical really. He must be hiding his magic underneath that brassy comb-over. That’s the only feasible excuse for that haircut that we can think of.
On the best day, we’d like to say Donald Trump isn’t a liar and just changes his mind a lot. Can you call someone a liar who can’t make up their mind? We’re pleading the fifth.
