The Skinny: Jackson is a sleazy chemist in L.A. specializing in illegal drugs looking to make a major score by taking his latest customized creation to Liverpool and building a new market of customers. But he runs afoul of the local Yank-disdaining drug trade, as well as an assassin (Meat Loaf) pursuing him from the U.S.
The Bottom Line: The film promises to mix Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels-style Brit crime noir with a dose of Yu’s Hong Kong-style kapow! The sight of Jackson, still the baddest mother in Hollywood, wearing a kilt may be worth the price of admission.
