The Skinny: The third in the Friday series finds Craig (Ice Cube) and his buddy Day-Day (Epps) having finally moved out of their parents’ houses and working as mall security guards. When a thief posing as Santa robs their neighborhood, they hatch a plan to track him down.
The Bottom Line: With its low budget and high return, this series has been a moneymaker, although the sequel didn’t live up to the first in humor or returns (it lacked both star Chris Tucker and screenwriter DJ Pooh). Pooh returns for the third.
