The Skinny: Igby (Culkin), whose wealthy and dysfunctional family largely ignores him, happily flunks out of boarding school and goes AWOL to New York City, where he falls in love with a kooky dropout (Danes).

The Bottom Line: Can you say Catcher in the Rye? The famous novel may never have been made into a movie, but this sounds like it comes pretty close. The impressive ensemble cast could mean it has Oscar potential written all over it.
