GLEE
SEASON PREMIERE SEPTEMBER 9
Fox’s utter cult sensation of a show enters its second season on September 9th, and after the powerhouse it proved to be the first time around, it’s almost guaranteed to keep the network glowing. It wasn’t so long ago that we saw the members of the New Directions perform at Sectionals, where Finn (Cory Monteith) confessed his love for Rachel (Lea Michele) and the whole group won the competition, which will hopefully earn them more respect amongst the other cliques once school starts up again. As for Will (Matthew Morrison) and Emma (Jayma Mays), the season finale ended with a kiss, but little indication if their relationship would carry on to the next school year. Hopefully we’ll get to see Will get over the shenanigans that was his ex-wife Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig) and her pregnancy lies.

GOSSIP GIRL
SEASON PREMIERE SEPTEMBER 13
A LOT happened in the finale of the third season of Gossip Girl: Jenny (Taylor Momsen) went back to Hudson after sleeping with Chuck (Ed Westwick), Blair (Leighton Meester broke up with Chuck after she found out he slept with Jenny and was shot in the street, Blair (Leighton Meester) and Serena (Blake Lively) went to Paris, and Dan (Penn Badgley) found out he was the father of Georgina’s (Michelle Trachtenberg) unborn child. The fourth season is rumored to have a lot less Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr), who will be “traveling abroad and working for CNN,” however she will still be considered a returning character on the show. This season will also have some fresher faces, though: Kate Cassidy of Melrose Place will play Nate’s (Chase Crawford) new girlfriend, and Clemence Posey will play Chuck’s new girlfriend. So no, Chuck wasn’t shot and killed. Luckily.

DANCING WITH THE STARS
SEASON PREMIERE SEPTEMBER 20
The 11th season (I know, right?) of DWTS will feature the same great costumes, routines, judges, and most definitely and importantly… new celebrities! Set to take the floor in their dancing shoes is David Hasselhoff, Florence Henderson, Jennifer Grey, comedian Margaret Cho, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Audrina Patridge of "The Hills". Each week, the celebrities perform a routine with their dance partners in hopes of garnering the most votes from home audiences. The couple that receives the least amount of votes will be sent home, and the process continues until the famous Disco Ball trophy is awarded.

RAISING HOPE
SEASON PREMIERE SEPTEMBER 21
Though this is a newbie, we’re thinking it’ll quickly turn into one of those shows we’d be willing to miss out on a night at an open bar for. Though described as a comedy, the show revolves around a 23 year-old who must raise his infant daughter that was conceived from a one-night-stand after her mother is sent to jail. Right! Where’s the comedy! Lucas Neff will play Jimmy Chance (Hope’s father), Cloris Leachman will play his grandmother and Martha Plimpton will play his mother.

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES
SEASON PREMIERE SEPTEMBER 26
nothing’s stopping us from getting excited about the premiere of the seventh season of Desperate Housewives this September.. After watching Katherine (Dana Delany) lose Mike (James Denton) to Susan (Teri Hatcher) and experiment with her sexuality, the tension between Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Gabrielle (Eva Longoria Parker) and Bree (Marsha Cross) dealing with the conflict taking place between her son and her stepson, surely the seventh season is incapable of disappointing…especially if the 8th season of the series is going to be its last.

COUGAR TOWN
SEASON PREMIERE SEPTEMBER 22
Courteney Cox’s role as the divorced mother who works hard to re-enter the dating scene by boffing lots of barely legal guys returns for its second season, and hopefully it’ll consist of a serious and positive relationship with Grayson (Josh Hopkins). It has been announced that Cox’s best friend, Jennifer Aniston, will play a shrink whose life is all figured out, and will undoubtedly intensify Jules’ frustration with what she feels is absent from her life. However, this show spent its first season making us laugh until our windows broke and rather than despair, and we’re not expecting it to suddenly change directions in the second season.
