This show reeks of testosterone — great, right? With the help of reality-TV big-wig Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Apprentice), the male-friendly Spike TV is unveiling a series worth noting: 12 cowboys doing rodeo tricks. But only one can be the “Toughest Cowboy,” and that fella will earn the deed to a magical ranch in the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming. Each week, touring major rodeo cities like Chicago, Atlanta and Indianapolis (yeah, who knew?), these fearless competitors will ride in the rodeo’s three major disciplines: bareback riding, saddle-bronc riding and bull riding — and one loser will be eliminated in a sudden death elimination bull-ride match. And gals — you know you still harbor that cowboy fantasy — tonight’s the night to size up the cowboys from the start. Twenty-one of ’em are tryin’ out …
