It’s no surprise that, in his real-life role as an international film superstar, Harrison Ford moves every bit as fast as his big-screen alter ego Indiana Jones – so when Hollywood.com grabbed a quick drive-by interview with the actor, who has returned to his whip-cracking ways for this spring’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, we were just glad to get ANYTHING about the film from the once and future Indy.
Hollywood.com: Was there anything – physically, action-wise, stunt-wise – in the movie that you thought you might not be able to do, but ended up being very able to do it?
Harrison Ford: Your putting words into my mouth, but that’ll do. I didn’t have any fear that I wasn’t going to be able to do it. I just wanted to do it good, do it right.
HW: What was it like working with Steven Spielberg again, after all these years?
HF: It was an enormous pleasure. We had a wonderful time working together as we have in the past and it makes the day go by. I’ve never worked with such a well-organized production, and so it was an absolute treat to go to work every day.
HW: And the new kid on the block is Shia LaBeouf. How was it working with him?
HF: Shia is great. He’s terrific and he’s going to be around for a long, long time. Be nice to him.
