In a one-on-one interview with Hollywood.com, the filmmaker charts how he became involved with indie hopeful The Squid and the Whale–a Sundance-buzz film that packs a stellar cast including the likes of Anna Paquin, Jeff Daniels and Laura Linney, to name a few.
