Jake Gyllenhaal Was Banned From a Mall For “Shenanigans”: Late Last Night

Last night, David Letterman spoke to Don Rickles, who’s been doing comedy, I think, in Las Vegas for something like 51 years. But what might be more interesting than that is how many references to sex he made. He even recalled a time in history when he was “in heat.” And then he cracked a joke about his wife! David Letterman sat there quietly in his key lime pie tie, taking it in stride. (But you could definitely see how he wanted to run with it.”

Kathy Griffin, who doesn’t seem to get the idea that I want her to go away, was on Jay Leno last night and talked about how Kate Gosselin was robbed on “Dancing with the Stars” and how much she wishes Dina Lohan was her mother. Then she continued to play up her “relationship” with Levi Johnston, and that schtick is even more played out than anything by Lionel Richie.

Then a rushed Paula Deen was so caught off guard by Jay’s cooking idiocy that she cursed! A FOUR LETTER ONE! And then she said “whore!” Can you believe it? Paula Deen keeps her knowledge about whores and pastries in the same place!

Jake Gyllenhaal
told Jimmy Fallon how he was banned from Century City Mall for doing something with sparkly fuses. (Maybe, I’m not sure, I wasn’t really listening. I was too busy staring at his pinkie ring.) It was actually a nice change from listening to him talk about how hard it was for him to put on muscle for “Prince of Persia,” because everyone knows the absolute, do all end all, best way to get me to see your movie is to talk incessantly about how awesome your body looks in it.

And in honor of today’s release of “Sex and the City 2,” Mario Cantone (the greatest Mario of all, as far as I’m concerned) told Jimmy about the children’s show he starred in, even though he hates children. I don’t remember it so I must have been too young for it. But if I was, I probably would have loved it because I also hated children.
