Yesterday, we reported Megan Fox would not be appearing in Transformers 3, and we all so many tears that not even Jen Aniston’s “Smart Water” could replenish them. Today, Megan’s representative claims it was her decision not to star in the flick.
“It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.“
Now, in a manner of speaking, we all knew Fox and her posse were going to try and spin this in her favor. They’re trying to make it seem like she’s got too many other better things to do, rather than act in the third movie about a bunch of Autobots and Decepticons (if I got those wrong I don’t care). This succinct and otherwise concealed statement is called “taking the high road,” and someone probably spent a day convincing her this was the way to go. But to that, we gently remind Ms. Fox and her assistants that it’s only “taking the high road” if she follows through and stars in something better than any of the Transformers movies. But since her imdb.com resume doesn’t indicate any desire to up her game, we’re hoping Megan releases another statement today and informs us of a newer and better project she’ll be doing instead. Even if it has to do with houseplants, we just might have to consider it an upgrade and acknowledge the proclamation’s truth (even if we really don’t want to).
