Bad Boys II



They ride together. They die together. They’re bad boys for life. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back as vice cops ready to topple yet another drug kingpin, eight years after they first hooked up to keep the sun-baked streets of Miami safe. Bloody, loud and long, if this is the best Smith and Lawrence can cook up after an eight-year absence, then these bad boys deserve a good spanking.

How To Deal



Teenager Halley Martin doesn’t believe in storybook romance and thinks love just complicates friendships–until she meets Macon, the one boy who is able to break through her fears and perhaps allow her to experience real love for the first time. Although star Mandy Moore puts forth a good effort in her second headlining feature it is derivative and too similar to every other teen drama.

The British Secret Service is in deep trouble when Mr. Bean, er, Rowan Atkinson, er, Johnny English is on the case. The plot may be ridiculous and contrived, but it is still a pretty darn funny movie.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl



Roguish yet charming pirate captain Jack Sparrow teams up with a young blacksmith to save a young woman and exact revenge on his mutinous shipmates. It’s surprisingly good, but it probably would not have been half as entertaining if it were not for Johnny Depp’s commanding performance as Captain Jack.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen



Set at the start of the Industrial Age, a league ofextraordinary gentlemen must come together to stop an evil force from starting a war between the world nations. It has elements of a great action film, but is unfortunately nowhere near being extraordinary.
