SYNOPSIS:
Death gets cheated–again. This time, on a highway
on-ramp, Kimberly Corman (A.J. Cook) has a vision of a horrific
traffic accident that leaves many dead bodies in its wake–including
her own. Snapping awake, she is shocked into action and blocks
the cars behind her from joining the traffic as the very crash
she envisioned unfolds before them, causing those on the ramp
narrowly escape with their lives. But it’s not over, not
by a long shot. With help from the lone survivor of the first
Final Destination, Clear Rivers (Ali Larter), Kimberly
and the random group of survivors race against Death to stay
alive.

The
Life of David Gale

SYNOPSIS:
David Gale (Kevin Spacey) is a devoted father, popular
professor and respected death penalty opponent, but in a bizarre
twist of fate finds himself on Death Row for the rape and murder
of fellow activist Constance Hallaway (Laura Linney). With only
three days before his scheduled execution, Gale agrees to give
reporter Elizabeth "Bitsey" Bloom (Kate Winslet) an
exclusive interview. Bitsey soon realizes that this assignment
is more than she bargained for. Putting her own safety in jeopardy,
she frantically races to piece together the shocking events
surrounding Constance’s death before it’s too late.

Nicholas
Nickleby

SYNOPSIS:
Based on the classic Charles Dickens novel, the story
revolves around the resourceful Nicholas Nickleby (Charlie Hunnam)
and his beloved family. Their world changes dramatically when
Nicholas’ father dies, leaving them penniless and forcing them
to live with their Uncle Ralph in London (Christopher Plummer),
who plots demonic machinations to scatter them apart. Nicholas
is sent away to work as a teacher at a school run by a cruel
headmaster (Jim Broadbent) but eventually runs away with one
of his students, Smike (Jamie Bell), on a mission to reunite
the Nickleby family–against all odds.

Gods
and Generals

SYNOPSIS:
From the creators of the TNT miniseries Gettysburg,
including executive producer Ted Turner and writer/director
Ronald F. Maxwell, the film chronicles the Civil War from its
beginnings when the South rises up. Confederate General Robert
E. Lee (Robert Duvall), a distinguished military man but also
a loyal native Virginian, takes the side of the South as Thomas
"Stonewall" Jackson (Stephen Lang), a devoutly religious
man, becomes his most trusted lieutenant. On the other side,
we have Colonel Joshua Chamberlain (Jeff Daniels), a professor
from Maine who ends up one of the Union’s finest military leaders.
As the battles rage on we get glimpses of the wives and families
left behind.
