Darkness Falls
For all those horror fans, here’s the tale of a young boy who claims to have awakened from a sound sleep to see the Tooth Fairy–trying to kill him. Years later he returns to confront his troubled past and save his hometown from an unrelenting evil that has plagued it for over a century.

The Crime of Father Amaro
Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, the story follows the 24-year-old Father Amaro who is sent to a small parish church in Los Reyes, Mexico, to assist the aging Father Benito in his daily work. Upon arriving, however, the ambitious Father Amaro meets Amelia, a devout and beautiful 16-year-old girl who soon becomes helplessly entangled with the new priest. Torn between the divine and the carnal, the righteous and the unjust, Father Amaro must summon his strength to choose which life he will lead.

Real Women Have Curves
Ana, a first generation Mexican-American teenager living in East Los Angeles, is excited about the possibility of going to college, but her overbearing and hypercritical mother, Carmen, insists that it is time for her to help provide for the family by working in her sister’s sewing factory. It seems as if Ana’s fate is unhappily sealed, but her indomitable will eventually leads her to burst–defiant and resplendent–through every restriction on her life. Winner of the Dramatic Audience Award at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival.
