“Eclipse” comes out on June 30th, which means Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner have approximately the next three weeks to promote it. This means appearing on lots of talk shows, giving radio interviews, and maybe walking in a few parades. Before completing all this press, you’d think each of them would come up with ways to describe “Eclipse” that would convince us to go see it. But that isn’t really what’s happened. Of the movie, Robert Pattinson said,
“It’s good. It’s different. It’s really different, like, it’s kind of serious.”
What are we to do with that? Do you know what else is “different” and “kind of serious?” A dishwasher! It takes household cleaning and flips it on its side a bit, and can seriously clean a pan better than me. So do I want to see a movie that’s “different” and “like, kind of serious?” No! I’ll just wash some dishes!
